The Rowan Group is an independent insurance agency with offices located in Whitesboro and Rome, NY. The main carriers we represent are Erie Insurance Group (A+), Travelers Insurance (A+), and NYCM (New York Central Mutual) Insurance (A+). Ed Rowan founded the agency in 1992, and with his son Scott built the agency from the ground up. Though Ed retired in 2000, The Rowan Group continues to operate out of two locations under the ownership of Scott Rowan. We now serve many thousands of policyholders locally and throughout New York State with 9 full-time employees.
